The Human-Technology Interaction (HTI) group at Eindhoven University of Technology is unique in Western Europe in placing the human (as both an individual and a social being) in a technological environment at the center of its educational focus. In the educational programs offered by the HTI group you can study these issues by applying knowledge from the social sciences, in particular psychology, to problems raised by the introduction of new technologies.

Educational programs

The HTI group (part of the school of Innovation Sciences at TU/e) offers three educational programs. The programs are based on three fundamentals: human behaviour, specifically applied to technological settings, user-oriented development of technological products and environments, and scientific methodology.

• Master Human-Technology Interaction
  The HTI master’s program offers students from many technical disciplines, but also students with a psychological background, a possibility to develop their skills and knowledge in the domain of Human-Technology Interaction.
• Minor Human-Technology Interaction
  The Minor HTI provides the student with a basic understanding of human action, reasoning, perception and cognition.
• Pre-Master Human-Technology Interaction
  The Pre-Master's program is a program that allows HBO students to start with the master HTI. It may also be relevant for students holding a bachelor degree.
