Dr. Daan van Bel is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Human-Technology Interaction Group at the School of Innovation Sciences of the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. He studied psychology at Utrecht University and previously held research positions at UCLA, the Dutch Government, and Tilburg University. His research interests lie in the areas of communication science, health and social psychology, with an emphasis on topics such as social connectedness, (mediated) social interaction, social influence, self-regulation, and implicit cognition. He teaches the course “Health Psychology” at Eindhoven University.
